When one talks of Yog, the image that conjures up is that of physical fitness and therapy. But that is not what Yog is all about. I say “Yog for the Mind, through the Body”. Yog is much deeper. Practicing Yogasans and Pranayam with mindful awareness elevates the experience to a higher dimension. Not only does this have a greater impact on the body, it also calms the mind. We will analyze the philosophy and the teachings of “Ashtang Yog”, and apply the concepts and the principles to the practice of Asans and Pranayam, and experience as to how they elevate us to the meditative state, effortlessly.

Expert Guidance: Sandeep is an IIT Kanpur alumnus. He is a Mindfulness coach, Yog teacher, and a professional with 28 years of varied experience in the Information Technology and Engineering sectors; having worked for reputed organizations such as Adobe Systems and Tata Steel. What Sandeep teaches is based on his very own experience of working on his mind and body. He turned to Yog and Vedant not because of any spiritual calling, but to essentially heal his mind, as he battled Clinical Depression. The teachings and the practices, which are verily the “Science of the Mind”, as they are absolutely practical, gave him deep insight into the nature and the working of the mind.
Sandeep specializes in teaching the practice of Yog in its true essence, with the mind – body integration, that elevates Mindfulness, in addition to bringing about physical wellbeing. He is also very well versed with the practical aspects of the Yogic and the Vedantic philosophies, and brings in a unique perspective to his sessions, by inter weaving the philosophical teachings with the Asans, Pranayam and Meditation.
He counsels people with mental health and emotional issues. The teachings on Mindfulness is augmented by the Yogic and Vedantic practices.
