When one talks of Yog, the image that conjures up is that of physical fitness and therapy. But that is not what Yog is all about. I say “Yog for the Mind, through the Body”. Yog is much deeper. Practicing Yogasans and Pranayam with mindful awareness elevates the experience to a higher dimension. Not only does this have a greater impact on the body, it also calms the mind. We will analyze the philosophy and the teachings of “Ashtang Yog”, and apply the concepts and the principles to the practice of Asans and Pranayam, and experience as to how they elevate us to the meditative state, effortlessly.

Expert Guidance: Sandeep is an IIT Kanpur alumnus. He is a Mindfulness coach, Yog teacher, and a professional with 28 years of varied experience in the Information Technology and Engineering sectors; having worked for reputed organizations such as Adobe Systems and Tata Steel. What Sandeep teaches is based on his very own experience of working on his mind and body. He turned to Yog and Vedant not because of any spiritual calling, but to essentially heal his mind, as he battled Clinical Depression. The teachings and the practices, which are verily the “Science of the Mind”, as they are absolutely practical, gave him deep insight into the nature and the working of the mind.
Sandeep specializes in teaching the practice of Yog in its true essence, with the mind – body integration, that elevates Mindfulness, in addition to bringing about physical wellbeing. He is also very well versed with the practical aspects of the Yogic and the Vedantic philosophies, and brings in a unique perspective to his sessions, by inter weaving the philosophical teachings with the Asans, Pranayam and Meditation.
He counsels people with mental health and emotional issues. The teachings on Mindfulness is augmented by the Yogic and Vedantic practices. This unique combination has been very effective in the healing process. Sandeep teaches and disseminates the knowledge of Yog to over 16000 members in his social groups. Integration of body, mind and awareness

Sandeep ji, first of all a very big Pranaam for the sincerity and diligence with which you conducted the entire course. You even added an extra session voluntarily so that the ‘syllabus’ that you had planned could be covered.
I have been doing yogasanas for the last 3 years. After reading about this course in the brochure I was hoping to learn something new, beyond mere physical exercise. I am truly grateful and happy that you have shown a path to me which has already started taking me beyond just physical straining. Your insight and guidance regarding alignment and integration of Praan Energy and Awareness culminating in ‘Sthiram Sukham Aasansm’ is enlightening.
I am certain that my daily morning yogasanas will be Yog experience. Dhanyavaad.
I have a small suggestion - I hope you will not mind my taking this liberty. Is it possible to start and each session with an appropriate short prayer to Aadiyogi Shiv ji?

A voyage of Self Exploration with Sandeepj ji,

Yog Sessions with Sandeep ji was an enlightening experience in totality . Words would not adequately justify the blissful joy or ecstatic delight that intensified with every session .
I have been practising Yog Asanas for the past twelve years regularly in addition to earlier learnings . However, sandeep ji ‘s teaching gave a dimension to the nuances that introduced a different awareness to the body and mind . There was a sense of harmony and synchronisation with inner spirit when he said Sthiram Sukham Asanam . I find myself closer to me . He puts his study and experience into every minute aspect of Asana that enables a serene and smooth transportation to meditative state be it an Asana , Pranayam or Mantra Chant. To summarise ,he served as a torch bearer to the path that leads to happiness unlimited. So in short , we may live an enriched life!!

Analysis of flow of energy in body and beyond.

Sandip ji your teaching and to make understand the basic analysis of flow of energy and its source is really wonderful and awesome . It helps to energize and expand self more and more and moving towards I (self). Being student of Civil Engineering ,we understand the structural analysis and stress,strain,force,tension, compression, bending moment, twisting moment ,expansion, contraction etc in different elements of structure. But first time we start feeling the flow of energy in body elements.
